    1 killed, 4 injured in road mishap in Assam’s Dibrugarh

    The incident occurred when a four wheeler hit one motorcycle, which was coming from the opposite side.

    Guwahati: In a tragic incident, one youth was killed and four others were injured during a road mishap at the link road from Seujpur to Assam Medical College and Hospital in Dibrugarh on Saturday evening.

    The incident occurred when a four wheeler hit one motorcycle, which was coming from the opposite side. The four wheeler lost control and also hit a car.

    As a result, the motorcycle bounced back and hit another four wheeler parked by the roadside.

    Reportedly, the accident occurred due to rush driving and negligence on the part of the driver of four wheeler.

    The deceased, who was riding the motorcycle, has been identified as Karan Gill (22) of AMCH campus in Dibrugarh.

    The four-wheeler which hit the motorcycle was driven by one named Deep Shah and has three passengers – Abhishek Raut (25), Rupom Bora (21), and Kamal Khan (24).

    Police reached the spot and sent all the injured to AMCH for further treatment. The deceased’s body was sent for post mortem report.

    A case has also been registered by the police. Meanwhile, all the vehicles were brought to the police station.
