Guwahati: At least 10 children fall ill after they were allegedly fed phenyl in place of milk in Tinsukia’s Kakopathar on Friday.

The shocking incident was reported from an Anganwadi centre in Kakopathar.

According to reports, the students complained of stomach pain after drinking the liquid and were taken to Tinsukia civil hospital for better medical care.

It is yet not been ascertained whether someone had ‘mistakenly’ served the phenyl or not.

This is a developing story.

So far no case has been registered.
