Guwahati/Itanagar, September 13: The 25th conference of the Director General of Police(DGP) and Inspector General of Police(IGP) and heads of the Central Police Organisation(CPO) meet of the Northeast region convened on Thursday.
The two-day meet will reportedly highlight on several issues related to Northeast region including the cross-border crimes, counter-insurgency operations, drug menace and so on.
Along with the police chiefs from across the Northeast region, the conference has been attended by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Union Minister of home for state affairs Kiren Rijiju and other state bureaucrats.

The conference has been addressed at the newly constructed state-of-the-art Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre hall at IG Park.
