2 Tourists Killed, 7 Injured After Car Veers Off Road In Sikkim

In a tragic incident, three persons, including two tourists, died and seven other sustained severe injuries on March 10th, 2020 after their vehicle skidded off the Lingtam -Rhenock road, East Sikkim

As per reports, the driver of the vehicle died along with the two tourists in a road accident at Keew Khola in Lingtam.

The deceased have been identified as Jharna Saha (48), Hrishpriya Ghose (14) and driver Suraj Chettri. The tourists hailed from West Bengal.

Hari Chettri, SP East district said that the Spacio vehicle went off-road while coming from Padamchen. The injured have been rushed to the hospital.

The injured persons have been identified as: Taposh Saha (46), Narayan Ghosh (52), Subrato Das (18), Kunjala Saha (35), Debjani Saha, Mithu Ghose, Rishi Ghose (8), Anu Ghose (9) and Raja Saha.
