281 companies of armed force to ensure peaceful elections in Nagaland

Nagaland, February 12: As many as 281 companies of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) are said to be stationed in Nagaland so as to check peaceful conduction of Assembly Elections in the state on February 27.
Office of the Chief Electoral Officer stated that out of the 281 companies of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), 77 companies have already arrived and stationed in different parts of the state. The remaining 204 companies are expected to reach the state after conclusion of elections on February 18.
It is further informed that the CAPF workforce is also checking possible instances of movement of cash, arms smuggling, liquor and illegal items.
