    380 Persons Home Quarantined In Hailakandi

    The district health authorities in Hailakandi informed that 380 persons, including 22 persons on May 2nd, 2020, have been home quarantined immediately on their arrival

    A total of 380 stranded persons who came back to Hailakandi from different parts of Assam in the past couple of days have been placed under home quarantine for 28 days. 

    The district health authorities in Hailakandi informed that 380 persons, including 22 persons on May 2nd, 2020, have been home quarantined immediately on their arrival. 

    “Close watch would be kept on them during the quarantine period of 28 days with surveillance teams visiting them to see whether they are following the quarantined guidelines,” said Joint Director of Health Services, Dr Ramesh Chandra Dwivedy.

    126 surveillance teams are working at ground zero, Dr Dwivedy said. Of the 254 swab samples, 245 have turned out to be negative with one COVID-19 death.
