In a tragic incident, five migrant labourers died and 11 others sustained severe injuries after the truck they were travelling in overturned in Patha village in Narsinghpur on the intervening night of May 9th-10th, 2020.
A total of 18 people were travelling in the truck laden with mangoes.
As per the reports, the truck overturned near the Patha village in Narsinghpur.
The truck was moving from Telangana’s Hyderabad to Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
Among the injured, two persons have been referred to Jabalpur as one of them had a head injury and the other had mandible fracture.
Police also said that one of the injured labourers has cough, cold and fever since three days and their samples have been collected, including the dead.
Following the incident, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his condolences on Twitter.

The news comes only days after 16 migrants died on railway tracks in Aurangabad after a cargo train ran over them while they were sleeping.
