Guwahati, September 21: Stephen Constantine’s squad representing India in the upcoming 2019 Asian Cup qualifier is out and a lot of faces seem to be from the Northeast.
Assam’s Alen Deory who plays for Shillong Lajong, Mizoram’s Lalruatthara who plays for Kerala Blasters, Jerry Lalrinzuala also from Mizoram, who plays for Chennaiyin FC, Meghalaya’s Eugeneson Lyngdoh currently playing for Atletico de Kolkata, Assam’s Halicharan Narzary who plays for NorthEast United and Jeje Lalpekhlua currently with Chennaiyin FC have made the cut. Manipur’s Salam Ranjan Singh, Jackichand Singh and Udanta Singh too have made it to the team.
