    6 New COVID-19 Cases In Assam, Toll Rises To 121

    Four confirmed deaths related to the virus were reported in Assam till May 19

    The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases seem to be rising in Assam as on Tuesday the total cases touched 121 as six new cases were detected in Assam.

    Among the new cases, two each are from Jorhat and Golaghat while one each is from Kokrajhar and Nagaon.

    The Jorhat patient had returned from Chennai recently, while the came from Darjeeling. All of them are in quarantine now.

    The total confirmed cases in Assam now stands at 121 with 71 active cases and four confirmed deaths.

    So far Assam has discharged 41 patients while two were migrated to their home states.
