Muffler – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal’s trademark favourite winter accessory has innumerable jokes and memes over the years His love for the woolly scarf also earned him the sobriquet ‘muffler man’.

The ‘muffler’ was also used by his political rivals to mock and rebuke him in the early years of his political journey on and off social media.

As the party is gearing to celebrate the victory for the third consecutive term, even though elections results are still coming in, a little copycat of Kejriwal has surfaced the Internet which has left us wowed.

As counting began for the Delhi election since 8 am on February 11th, 2020, the AAP tweeted an image of a toddler dressed up as 51-year-old Kejriwal, who is contesting from the New Delhi Assembly constituency.

The photograph tweeted by AAP shows a young boy dressed as Kejriwal – complete with an AAP cap, a maroon pullover, a painted-on moustache and, of course, the signature muffler.

‘Mufflerman’ – the AAP captioned the photograph while tweeting the image, adding a smiley face emoji.

Within minute, the post has collected more than 11.7k ‘likes’ and thousands of comments on the microblogging platform. The post was retweeted 1.7k times.

Kejriwal was spotted in his favourite accessory when he stepped out to cast his vote on February 8th, 2020. He is pitted against Sunil Yadav of the BJP and Romesh Sabharwal of the Congress.

The AAP has surged ahead of the BJP in early leads. AAP workers and supporters started celebrating another Kejriwal chief ministership in Delhi.

Kejriwal asked AAP volunteers not to burst firecrackers during victory celebrations to prevent air pollution. 2,600 counting staff, are involved in the counting of votes at 21 locations in 11 districts.

Outside the AAP’s headquarters in Delhi, workers could be seen putting up banners and posters. Slogans of ‘ Achhe honge agle paanch saal’,  ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai‘ and ‘Arvind Kejriwal ki Jai‘ could be heard outside the office.
