Adil Hussain urges Indian government to introduce Art Education in primary schools
Guwahati: Actor Adil Hussain has urged all the state governments across the country to introduce Art Education in primary schools to pave the way for ‘coming generations to be better humane’.
Taking to Twitter, Hussain wrote, “Yesterday was Lionardo Da Vinci Birthday! Which is as well Celebrated as World Art Day. I am again Urging the Governments Accross the country to introduce Art Education from the preliminary school! It will be a most efficient tool for coming generations to be better Humane!”
Art Education is a primary pathway to learning, a journey of discovery of the meaning of teaching for aesthetic experience. Working in arts helps learners to develop creating problem-solving skills.
It allows individuals to become more conscious of folk arts, local specific arts, and other cultural elements, contributing to a greater understanding of national heritage.
Art has always been a potent medium for expressing and exploring feelings. During the pandemic, World Art Day is especially important because it helps people cope with stress, especially at a time when people of all ages being forced to live in isolation.
