Agyathuri Shootout case | Mystery shrouds SBI employee’s murder as police grills Branch Manager

Hajo, October 11: After almost 40 hours of the Agyathuri mysterious firing case, the police, continuing its investigation on Thursday reached the Dadara Branch of the State Bank of India(SBI), and grilled the Manager of the branch Asha Purna Sinha.

Earlier the husband of the woman bank official, who was shot dead inside her car, stated that the employees of the State Bank of India (SBI) are possibly behind the shootout. The husband had further stated that his wife had discovered a file related to financial anomalies in the bank.

A special team of police sought all the files related to the possible financial scam of the Dadara branch of SBI.

The team further detached all the seats and other parts of the car in which Junu Sarmah was travelling.

On the other hand, when TIME8 approached the Manager at the Dadara Branch of the SBI, he refused to comment anything on the incident.

Junu Sarmah, a female SBI eployee was shot-dead by motorbike-borne miscreants in the middle of a busy road at Agyathuri while she was returning home in the evening from her office.
