Guwahati: With the clashes between the Indian Army and the Chinese Troops in eastern Ladakh’s Galwan Valley, the Himachal Pradesh Police has now issue alert in the Spiti-Lahaul and Kinnaur Districts.
The alert was issued as these districts share borders with China and so precautions were taken to ensure no further clashes take place.
It may be mentioned that at least 20 Army personnel which include an officer were allegedly killed in a clash with the Chinese troops in Galwan Valley.
Spokesperson of the Himachal Police Khushal Sharma said in order to take all precautionary measures to ensure security of local population and also to collect intelligence so as to plan the future course of action, the alert was issued in the districts.
Currently, several Indian Army jawans are said to be injured and are being treated in the hospitals.
Raskha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh tweeted “The loss of soldiers in Galwan is deeply disturbing and painful. Our soldiers displayed exemplary courage and valour in the line of duty and sacrificed their lives in the highest traditions of the Indian Army.
