American National Arrested On Charges Of Molesting Judicial Magistrate In Meghalaya

The Meghalaya police have arrested an American national for allegedly molesting a female judicial magistrate inside her house in the capital city of the state, Shillong. The incident took place on June 20th, 2019.

The arrest was made after Theodore M Moallem, member of an NGO named Blind Lead Trust who was rented at the magistrate’s five-storeyed building in Lachumiere area of the city went to report abuse to the police. The ground floor was given on rent to the Blind Lead Trust.

Moallem and his organization in the meantime have also filed a counter-complaint against the magistrate for allegedly assaulting him.

Blind Lead Trust’s director Jitendra Dkhar has filed another complaint against the magistrate’s mother. According to Dkhar, a scuffle broke out between the two parties on the night of June 20th, 2019 over a water pump.
