Another murder in poll bound Tripura creates panic

Agartala, January 11: Another brutal murder in poll bound Tripura sparks panic and tension among the people.

This time the incident took place in the capital city of Tripura, Agartala.

On Thursday the city police recovered a body from a drain near Motor Stand, Chittaranjan club. Severe injuries were found on the dead body, whereas his head was smashed with bricks and the injuries indicated that he was brutally murdered by miscreants.

The deceased has been identified as Gautam Sarkar (45), resident of Vulcan Club, who was found missing since Wednesday night. According the sources he was an employee of a bag shop.

Meanwhile opposition BJP demanded Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s take on increasing murders in the state.

The police have started investigating the case but no arrest has been made so far.
