    APCC issues notice to Biswajit Ray for violating party discipline

    Guwahati: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Monday had issued a show cause notice to its secretary Biswajit Ray for violating party discipline.

    Ray shared the staged with Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP state president Ranjeet Kumar Das in a election campaign public meeting at Salakati in Kokrajhar.

    The letter from APCC general secretary Ranjan Bora states, “Your such acts are deemed as violation of Party discipline. As such you are hereby asked to show cause why Disciplinary Action shall not be taken against you for violating party discipline and your reply must reach by the undersigned within 3 days.”
