    Arsenal’s Mesut Özil sends gift for Assam prodigy Pritam Brahma

    Pritam played a deciding role in the victory of his team in the second season of Golden Baby Football League ‘Greater Guwahati Baby League’

    GUWAHATI: It’s all going to be a happy weekend for little football prodigy Pritam Brahma who led the Guwahati City FC (GCFC) Unicorns at the under 10 Golden Baby Football League ‘Greater Guwahati Baby League’ (GGBL).

    Thanks to German footballer and Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Mesut Özil who has sent him his Arsenal jersey with his autograph. Özil who plays for Premier League club Arsenal as a midfielder, but can also be deployed as a winger. He is renowned for his technical skills and creativity; due to his agility, finesse and versatility as an attacking midfielder.

    Along with Pritam, at least nine other junior players have received the gift from the professional player as a token of encouragement and inspiration. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) had recommended their names for the cause.

    Pritam played a deciding role in the victory of GCFC Unicorn in the second season of GGBL. The state’s first-ever baby league also ranked amongst the top 10 baby leagues in the country.
