    Arunachal girl alleges sexual misconduct at ISBT in Guwahati

    The incident occurred at ISBT in Guwahati, where Chello Meme who hailed from Arunachal accused a man of trying to have inappropriate conduct with her.

    Guwahati: In a viral video which is doing rounds over social media, an Arunachali girl is seen holding back a man who allegedly tried to touch her inappropriately. The incident occurred at ISBT in Guwahati, where Chello Meme who hailed from Arunachal accused a man of trying to have inappropriate conduct with her on Saturday morning. She was en route to Delhi and was waiting there before her departure.

    In the video, Chello was seen holding the accused while he tried to escape from the spot. “These are the reasons why women are afraid of being raped at all time. And it is because of people like you, all men are blamed and shadowed,” Chello is seen saying in the video.

    It is also seen that, the accused blurted out a meek ‘sorry’ when confronted by the netizens, who also demanded strict action against him.

    Chello took Instagram to inform about the incident. She wrote: “while traveling for delhi I had to stop at ISBT Guwahati. So this man sitting at my back was touching my butt and when i caught him he was trying to escape. I even searched for police around but i couldn’t find any. Girls take right action at right time.. don’t let them go easy.”

    Chello Meme was tralling to Delhi along with her two friends, to represent the state in Central Hall of Indian Parliament at NYPD 2021.

    Meem secured the first spot in the state level event and will speak at the National Youth Parliament.
