Arunachal police murder: 1 nabbed from Assam, 2 from Kolkata
Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh police has revealed that all the three suspects in the murder of a sub-inspector in Itanagar were arrested.
Two of the suspects were arrested from Barrackpoer near Kolkata on Tuesday, while the prime suspect was earlier nabbed from Lakhimpur district of Assam.
Meanwhile, police has also recovered the murder weapon, a knife; near the crime scene and two other weapons were seized from the Jollang Bridge near a school in SRPL colony in Arunachal Pradesh.
Earlier on Friday, sub-inspector Sibu George (50), a native from Kerala was allegedly killed in his quarters at SRPL colony. He was posted at DGP cell in Police Headquarters.
It is suspected that Sibu was murdered because of a financial transaction as he used to provide cash loans and the prime suspect used to work as an agent.
