Guwahati: Two youths were killed and one was left severely injured in a road accident in the Jorhat district of Assam on Monday.
The incident took place in the Titabor area near Bosabari Tea Estate in the district.
As per sources, the four-wheeler vehicle was heading to Borholla from Titabor, when a driver at a great speed lost control and hit a tree on the roadside.
Following the incident, two died on the spot and two were seriously injured.
The two deceased identified as Partha Dutta and Kalyan Hazarika, both were residents of Borholla.
Meanwhile, the two seriously injured were taken to Jorhat Medical College & Hospital for treatment.
