Guwahati: In a shocking incident, two persons were charred to death when one truck and two dumpers collided with each other and caught fire in Assam’s Kamrup district on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place in Boko on National Highway 17.

Two drivers could not come out of the vehicles and were burnt alive. Due to the impact of the collision, the truck and two dumpers caught fire.

The deceased have been identified as Bhadreswar Patgiri, a resident of Goalpara, and Krishna Das, a resident of Bamunigaon. While another driver was injured following the incident.

Meanwhile, following the accident, a nearby shop also caught fire in the incident.

However, after receiving the information, fire brigades rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.
