Assam: 4-year-old, youth killed in separate road mishaps
Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a youth was killed in a road accident in Narayanpur town of Lakhimpur district in Assam on Monday.
The incident occurred in No 15 National Highway when a two-wheeler rammed into a trailer vehicle which was parked on the roadside.
One of the people on the motorcycle died on spot, while the other has been grievously injured. The injured victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
However, the identity of the deceased and the injured victim is yet to be ascertained.
In a separate incident, a speeding four-wheeler hit a 4-year-old child following which the victim died on spot.
The deceased was identified as Kotep Muchahari and the incident occurred in Gohpur area of Biswanath district in Assam.
Meanwhile, police seized the vehicle and an investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
