Guwahati: A member of the All-Adivasi National Liberation Army (AANLA) surrendered before security forces in Dibrugarh on Wednesday.
The AANLA cadre has been identified as Devid Brajnayak (31), resident of Na-Bill village of Golaghat district.
He also surrendered one 0.32mm pistol, one magazine, and three rounds of bullets.
Meanwhile, two AANLA cadres, on May 23 had surrendered before the superintendent of police in Dibrugarh with arms and ammunitions.
On May 14, two more AANLA cadres surrendered before the police in Dibrugarh.
The AANLA organization was formed in 2006 and has an estimated strength of around 100 members who belong to Assam’s tea tribe community.
