    Assam: AHSEC declares HS exam schedule

    Examinations for the HS will begin from May 11 and continue till June 14, 2021. The exam will be held in two shifts – morning and in afternoon.

    Guwahati: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) declared the exam routine for the Higher Secondary (HS) examination on Thursday.

    Examinations for the HS will begin from May 11 and continue till June 14, 2021. The exam will be held in two shifts – morning 9 am to 12 noon and in afternoon from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

    This year, 1,75,175 students will appear for the Arts stream , among which 80,981 are male and 94,194 candidates are female.

    In the Science stream, 27,175 male candidates and 13,413 female candidates would appear for exam, making a total of 40,588 students.

    A total of 18,178 candidates will appear for the Commerce stream, among which 13,574 are male and 4,604 are female students.

    And in Vocational stream, 610 male students and 258 female students will be appearing for the exams, making a total of 868 candidates.

    The total count of candidates for the HS Final year exam, 2021 is 2,49,399.
