    Assam: AJYCP announces series of protests against CAA

    On January 20, the AJYCP would take out rally in all over the state and on January 27, 500 meetings will be conducted in various places of Assam.

    Guwahati: The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parisad (AJYCP) on Monday announced a fresh series of agitation against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

    The student body announced that they would start the agitation from January 9, 2021, in all the districts of Assam.

    On January 20, the AJYCP would take out rally in all over the state and on January 27, 500 meetings will be conducted in various places of Assam.

    Addressing a press conference in the city, general secretary of AJYCP Palash Sangmai said that they would continue the agitation against CAA for two years and would also demand for Inner Line Permit (ILP) in the coming days.
