Guwahati: Another dead body of an unidentified person was recovered in Assam’s Nalbari district on Monday.
The deceased was found in the Sonamati area, concealed under a makeshift roof.
The body was spotted by locals and immediately informed authorities.
After receiving the information, police rushed at the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
However, the cause of the youth’s death is yet to be established.
Further investigation is underway.
On Sunday night, a body of a man was found in Assam’s Darrang district.
According to sources, the body was found in the Mangaldoi area near National Highway No. 15 in Pipara Dokan.
The deceased has been identified as Ranjan, a resident of Bezpara.
