Assam boy contributes to Emmy-award winner ‘Lost in Oz’

Guwahati, October 4: Rupam Roychoudhury, from Assam has received recognition as a matte painter from the prestigious The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) , New York for his contribution in the famous children’s web series “Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure.”
The programme is an expansion of the multiple Emmy Award-winning ‘Lost in Oz.’
It was chosen as ‘OUTSTANDING CHILDREN’S ANIMATED PROGRAM’ by the 2016-2017 Daytime Emmy Awards.
In a facebook post, Kuntala Roychoudhury, Rupam’s sister expressed her excitement on Rupam’s first steps towards success and said that he’s probably the first in Assam to receive this appraisal.
Rupam, is currently based in Japan, and works as a Digital Matte Painter at POLYGON PICTURES.
