    Assam: Cache of arms, ammunition recovered in Chirang

    The Chirang police seized two AK Rifles, One M20 pistol with ammunition in Amlaiguri village in the Manas National park in Chirang district of Assam.

    Guwahati: Once again, a huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered in Amlaiguri village in the Manas National park in Chirang district of Assam.

    The Chirang police seized two AK Rifles, One M20 pistol with ammunition. Informing about the recovery Assam ADGP GP Singh tweeted, “Continued offensive against unlawful weapons – On 12.02.2021 morning @chirangpolice recovered two AK Rifles, One M20 Pistol with ammunition from inside Manas National Park located in Amlaiguri village under Panbari PS.”

    Police to take legal action accordingly, informed an official.
