Assam Cops greets traffic rule violators with roses in Cachar
Guwahati: Assam cops in Cachar are winning the hearts of social media after some pictures and videos of them gifting rose to the traffic rule violators did rounds on Wednesday.
During the peak hours of traffic, Cachar police took this very unique initiative of giving rose to the commuters violating the traffic rules.
According to police, people will remember that they received a rose for breaking traffic rules, which might work as a reminder for them.
This innovative initiative is a part of the month-long campaign on road safety – “Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha” and is being carried out in various locations.
Cachar police also ensured that the rules were applied for all. Taking to Twitter, they wrote: “Presenting red roses to traffic rule violators during the ongoing month long campaign on road safety – “Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha.”
