Guwahati: The fear of a Covid 19 third wave constantly looming over the state with a continuous rise in positivity rate recorded in last couple of days. Thanks to the large gatherings during the Durga Puja celebration where many were seen flouting the Covid appropriate behaviour.

As per the data shared by both chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and health minister Keshab Mahanta, the Covid 19 positivity rate was recorded at 1.53% on Thursday.

It was 0.85% on Wednesday and 0.78% on Tuesday, the day Durga puja celebration began.
