Guwahati: Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu on Monday said that the news of Assam Higher Seconday (HS) result releasing on Today (May 22) is fake.
Taking to Twitter, Pegu wrote, “There is a fake news in circulation that HS Final Exam results will be given today. Don’t heed to such fake news.”
Assam Class 12 board exams were conducted from February 20 to March 20. The result is expected to be released later this week. Once released, students will be able to check result at the official website — ahsec.assam.gov.in, resultsassam.nic.in.
Meanwhile, the Assam Board declared the class 10 results on May 22, 2023.
A total of 415324 candidates have appeared for the Class 10 board examination out of which 301880 candidates have passed the examination in 2023.
The Assam Board has reported an overall pass percentage of 72.69 per cent.
