Guwahati, March 13: Indian forward footballer from Assam Halicharan Narzary will now play for Sachin Tendulkar’s Kerala Blasters in the upcoming seasons.
Halicharan Narzary was a part of John Abraham’s North East United club for the last three sessions.
In this year’s bid, Kerela Blusters roped in Assam forward Narzary for 2018-19 seasons. Narzary started his football carrier at a very early age from his hometown in Kokrajhar.
Narzary made his first professional entry in 2011 and started playing in I- League in 2012, scoring a goal in the 52nd minute.
23-year-old Assam forward first started his journey in ISL with FC Goa and later joined North-East United club. Kerela Blaster owned by Cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar is confident that Narzary will contribute a lot to the team and will make the new team even stronger. Narzary is yet to make any score in ISL but has assisted four goals in 31 matches.
Hero Indian Super League is one of the top football leagues in the country and currently shares the top spot in the Indian football league system with the I-League. The league comprises of 10 teams and runs for five months from November to March starting.
