Guwahati: Assam police seized 1183 kg of ganja from a truck in Karimganj district, along the Assam-Tripura border and detained two people, including the driver on Monday.
One six-wheeler Goods Carrier vehicle heading from Tripura to Guwahati was halted and thoroughly checked, said official.
During seerch operation, around 1183 kg of ganja (cannabis) found in the vehicle. Two people were detained, including the driver.
The arrested accused have been identified as Waseem(20) and Vaseem (18).
