Manira’s health started to deteriorate during the midnight hours and was immediately shifted to Behali public health centre by her parents on Wednesday morning

Guwahati: In a bizarre incident, a girl in Biswanath’s Behali area was reportedly injected with two doses of Covid-19 vaccine in a single day at Than Bihali Primary School on Tuesday.

As per reports, the girl identified as Manira Khatoon along with her family members had gone to Than Behali Primary School to get vaccinated against COVID.

Though, her parents and other family members returned back to their residence after taking their first dose of the vaccine. The girl, however, had to join the queue of people waiting outside the vaccination centre.

Later, she was allegedly administered two doses of the vaccine one after another by a health worker at Behali.

As the news reached the woman’s family members, they created an uproar at the centre; however, the health workers managed to handle the situation and sent them back home.

Meanwhile, Manira’s health started to deteriorate during the midnight hours and was immediately shifted to Behali public health centre (PHC) by her parents on Wednesday morning.

Sources informed that currently, Manira is doing well; however, she is still being kept under medical observation.
