Guwahati: Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday inaugurated the 100-bed Sadiya Civil Hospital at Chapakhowa in Assam.
The hospital is being built at the cost of Rs 20.53 crore. Sarma also informed that the people of Sadiya will soon get free dialysis, ICU, CT-Scan, X-ray facilities in the hospital.
Sarma also said they a nursing school will also be set up in the hospital premises.
Taking to Twitter, Sarme wrote: “A dream comes true. Over 1235 days ago on October 4, I had laid the foundation stone of Sadiya Civil Hospital in Chapakhowa. How gratifying to see this critical Rs 20.53 cr infrastructure getting ready in time. Inaugurated it in presence of Min Sanjay Kisan & MLA Bolin Chetia”

Apart from the inauguration of the hospital, the minister has also performed Bhoomi Pujan of a 100-bed hospital in Bokajan, Assam.
The Bokajan Civil hospital is being constructed at a cost of Rs 24.22 crore.
