    Assam: Huge cache of drugs seized; 2 apprehended

    The accused identified as Mujjamil Husain of Karimganj was apprehended with 30 soap cases containing suspected heroin concealed in a bag.

    Guwahati: On the basis of secret input, a team of crime branch and Guwahati police along with Gorchuck police on Tuesday seized huge amount of suspected heroin and apprehended two persons at ISBT, Guwahati.

    The accused identified as Mujjamil Husain of Karimganj was apprehended with 30 soap cases containing suspected heroin concealed in a bag behind the driver seat of a night super.

    Police also apprehended the bus driver, Sueil Ahmed (56), from Karimganj, who was also found involved in the case.
