    Assam: Koliabor Police arrests 2 accused for vehicle theft

    Based on specific input, Kaliabor Police on Sunday arrested two persons accused for vehicle theft near Amoni in Nagaon district of Assam.

    Guwahati: Based on specific input, Kaliabor Police on Sunday arrested two persons accused for vehicle theft near Amoni in Nagaon district of Assam.

    The thieves were hiding behind water Hyacinth plants in a pond near Amoni area.

    The accused were identified as Jiabur Rahman and Ahmat Ali.

    Police along with State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) led a one hour search operation to find the accused.

    The operation was jointly led by Koliabor sub-divisional police officer along with Samaguri and Puranigudam Police.

    The police revealed that there were several allegations regarding the theft of vehicle against both the accused.
