Guwahati: A man died after being hit by a train at Rupohihat in the Nagaon district on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at the Rowmari area in Rupohihat in district.
According to sources, the incident occurred when the man was crossing the tracks to reach the other side of the road and got hit by a Guwahati-bound train.
However, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, local police reached the scene and recovered the body for post-mortem.
