    The Liquified Petroleum Gas's (LPG) transport association in the state will hold an indefinite strike from Wednesday against the appointment of people from other states by discarding the indigenous people of the state.

    Guwahati: The LPG consumers in Assam are likely to face acute shortages of cooking gas in the coming days due to an indefinite strike to be held from Wednesday.
    The Liquified Petroleum Gas’s (LPG) transport association in the state will hold an indefinite strike from Wednesday against the appointment of people from other states by discarding the indigenous people of the state.
    Reportedly, the bottling plants in North Guwahati, Mirza Horpara, Duliajan, Silchar, Gupamari, Dimapur, Bongaigaon, Chengmai will remain closed for an indefinite time from today onwards.
