GUWAHATI: In a horrific incident, a mentally challenged woman was allegedly raped and killed in Rupohihat in Nagaon on Wednesday night.
The suspect, who is unidentified as of now, left the body near a bridge in Rupohihat.
The locals found the body on Thursday morning which had several marks of brutality.
The victims’s body was sent for post-mortem and police started investigation on the matter.
According to reports, the victim hailed Rupohihat in Nagaon district of Assam.
