GUWAHATI: In line with the gradual resumption of passenger carrying train services, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to resume the services of two more pairs of trains.
The trains-Rajendra Nagar – Kamakhya Express special will start running from Rajendra Nagar every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 23-10hrs from Monday to reach Kamakhya station here on Tuesday night.
Similarly, Kamakhya – Rajendra Nagar Express special will start running from Kamakhya every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from February 10 to reach Rajendra Nagar the next morning.
The train will run via Goalpara, Alipurduar Jn, New Mal Jn, Siliguri Jn, Thakurganj, Kishanganj, Barsoi Jn, Katihar Jn, Khagaria Jn, New Barauni Jn, Bakhtiyarpur Jn. during its both way journey, said NFR spokesperson.
Another train Rajendra Nagar – Dibrugarh Express special will start running from Rajendra Nagar every Saturday from February 13 to reach Dibrugarh the next day. And the train towards Rajendra Nagar will leave Dibrugarh every Monday starting from February 15.
The train will run via New Tinsukia, Namrup, Mariani Jn, Dimapur, Diphu, Lumding Jn, Hojai, Chaparmukh Jn, Jagoroad, Guwahati, Goalpara, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Barsoi Jn, Katihar Jn, Khagaria Jn, New Barauni Jn, Bakhtiyarpur Jn. during its both way journey.
