Guwahati: A man was killed when a bike and bicycle collided head-on while two others sustained injuries in Assam’s Kamrup District on Sunday.
The incident took place in the Goroimari area at Sontoli’s Rangapani road.
The deceased has been identified as Araan Ali, a resident of Pathalipara. Meanwhile, two others, identified as Jahangir Alam and Aminul Islam, sustained grievous injuries.
Following the incident, both the injured were taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.
On Friday too, a minor girl was killed after a speeding tractor ran over her in Orang.
The incident occurred when a tractor carrying illegal soil hit a class 3 student in the Dhanshree area of Orang. The deceased has been identified as Afsana Khatun.
