    Assam Phase II Polls: Golaghat Police books entire train to send Police Personnel & HGs to Silchar

    Second phase polls in Assam will be held on April 1

    Guwahati: Ahead of the second phase of the elections in poll-bound Assam; the Golaghat Police booked a train for sending at least 1500 (approx) Police Personnel and Home Guards to Silchar for the 2nd Phase Election Duty.

    As per a tweet, this has been for the first time when district police booked the entire train for sending Police Personnel and Home Guards for election duty, thus, keeping in mind the safety, security and comfort of the police teams.

    Golaghat police took to Twitter to inform, “For the 1st time, Golaghat Police booked a Train specially for sending 1500 (Approx) Police Personnel and HGs to Silchar for 2nd Phase Election Duty. Ensuring Safety, Security and Comfort of the security personnel.”

    It may be mentioned that the second phase polls in Assam will be held on April 1.
