    Assam police does it again! Meth tablets worth Rs 2.55 Crore seized in Guwahati

    Guwahati: The Guwahati city police seized around 1.7 lakh Meth tablets worth Rs. 2.55 Crore in the international market, near Dharapur along with Rs. 26 lakh in cash on Tuesday.

    In another follow-up operation to a huge consignment of Psychotropic Drugs, Assam police seized again three Lakh Tablets valued at around Rs 50 Lakh from a Container Truck bearing registration no. HR-55L-2073.

    Police is further working on to unearth and catch the whole supply, informed the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet.

    Meanwhile, DGP Assam Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta appreciating Nagaon police stated that it is the second major strike against the cartels in as many days by Assam Police.
