    Assam: Police raids illegal Aadhar Centre in Barpeta

    A team of Barpeta Police conducted the crackdown and apprehended five accused who allegedly duped people by selling Aadhar card illegally.

    Guwahati: Police raids illegal Aadhar Centre in Barpeta Based on credible information, Assam Police on Sunday raided an illegally operated Aadhar Centre in Barpeta district of lower Assam.

    A team of Barpeta Police conducted the crackdown and apprehended five accused who allegedly duped people by selling Aadhar card illegally.

    The police also recovered computer, mobiles and other accessories from the accused. Police raids illegal Aadhar Centre in Barpeta

    Taking to Twitter, Barpeta Police wrote, “Based on credible information, a Police team of Barpeta PS raided an illegally operated Aadhar Centre and apprehended 5 persons who duped people by selling Aadhar Card illegally. Also recovered computer, mobiles, and other accessories from them. @assampolice”
