Assam has seen its 100th novel coronavirus (COVID-19) case on Sunday with three more cases being confirmed in Guwahati in the evening.
Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet announced that three more persons were tested positive for the COVID-19 in Guwahati. Two of them came from Mumbai while one arrived from Bihar. All of the three new cases are in Sarusajai quarantine centre.
With these new cases, the total number of cases in the state has touched the 100 cases mark and has 55 active cases.
Till Sunday, 41 were discharged while two were confirmed to be dead and two to have migrated from the state.
