    Assam Reports 39 COVID-19 Positive Cases In A Single Day, Toll Rise To 154

    13 new positive cases were detected at the Sarusajai Quarantine Centre

    Assam has reported 39 new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases on Tuesday taking the total number of cases to 154.

    13 new positive cases were detected at the Sarusajai Quarantine Centre taking total patient count stands at 154. Total active cases in Assam now stand at 107 with four confirmed deaths.

    As of Tuesday there were 41 total cases discharged while two persons migrated to their home states.

    Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reacting to issue said, “In view of the rising number I earnestly request you to stay at home and follow social distancing and hygiene norms.”
