Guwahati: At least two people were killed including the driver and two others were injured when a truck turned turtle in Assam’s Tinsukia on Monday.
The incident occurred at Ledo town in the district.
As per sources, the truck that was involved in the incident was allegedly smuggling coal.
Following the incident, two persons died on the spot, while two others were injured, sources said.
Meanwhile, the identities of the victims are unknown.
Additionally, it has emerged that the coal smuggling ring attempted to conceal the entire event; unfortunately, it was discovered after police found the wrecked vehicle.
