Guwahati: Nripendra Das, 25-year-old youth from Assam’s Karimganj district of Barak Valley has been selected as a delegate for the Best Diplomats United Nations Simulation Conference, which will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from May 27 till 30.
The conference, which is being organised in partnership with Best Diplomats, a New York-based United Nations Simulation Organiser, delegate will take part from various country around the world.
In 2019, Das attended an international summit on environmental issues in Bali, Indonesia.
From December 2020 to May 2021, he rode his bicycle across India to convey the message of the ‘Clean India Campaign’ and ‘Rape Free India.’
Shillong, Guwahati, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kolkata, Mumbai, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Ahmedabad, Uttarkhand, Leh and Ladakh were among the places he visited during his tour.
Meanwhile, he also met Bollywood star Sonu Sood, who applauded his work and promised to assist him in his future efforts to raise awareness about essential issues.
