    Assam’s heartthrob Zubeen Garg to foot medical bills of 5 critical patients

    On the occasion of his birthday, Zubeen Garg has also released a new song ‘Ubhoti Suwa’ from his album ‘SILAA’.

    Guwahati: Celebrating the pre-birthday at a city hospital on Tuesday, Assam’s Heartthrob Zubeen Garg has announced that he would foot medical bills of five critical patients in the hospital.

    The renowned singer, Zubeen Garg, turned 48 on Wednesday. Born in November 18, 1972, the Assam icon Zubeen ‘da’, visited a city based hospital along with his wife on Tuesday and visited various wards of the hospital.

    He also gifted fruit basket to the patients admitted in the hospital, as a token of love, on account of his birthday.

    On the occasion of his birthday, Zubeen Garg has also released a new song ‘Ubhoti Suwa’ from his album ‘SILAA’.

    The song portrays Zubeen’s journey as a singer, highlighting his sister Jonki’s contribution in his life. And for the very first time, Zubeen used animation in his video.

    A philanthropist by nature, Zubeen has always been lending a helping hand to the ones in need. The icon runs a charity, the Kalaguru Artiste Foundation, which contributes to various cases.

    Earlier in February, the noted singer was hospitalised for almost 10 days, after he fell unconscious while speaking to the media. Soon after, he went to Mumbai with his wife Garima Saikia Garg for better treatment.

    Zubeen has always been in the talk for his golden heart, a human first, and a singer later, he has never backed off from working for the good of the people and voicing out his opinions against wrong. The heartthrob has always given his all to uplift our state culturally.
